I took a ride to Manhattan this past Saturday late at night, or I should say early Sunday around 2 in the morning haha. On the way home at around 3 on the Verrazano Bridge, the lit up back of a dump trailer caught my brother's eye. There were 2 of Mountain Men's Kenworth dump trailers going to Atlantic Salt. I was not going to bring my camera but I'm glad I did!
While passing Atlantic Salt to see if any trucks were hauling salt, we noticed that the Weeks Clyde cranes were unloading salt from a ship. I got out of the car and took a quick few shots at the fence. Although the best part of a SLR is having a big sensor, which means bigger lens' , is that in instances like this, the lens just does not fit through a fence like a phone or a point and shoot camera does. I think this picture looks pretty cool with the fence at the edges, focusing all the attention into the middle of the picture.
I caught these two sweet looking rides that belong to Julia Rose Trucking hauling salt, I had never seen the Pete before but the Kenworth you can see in the background I see not often but every now and then.
