Seen Grella's new Pete 389 sitting along Bay St while hauling salt. Their new rigs are simple yet have a nice touch to them. As you can tell in the picture Bay St gets pretty crowded normally with just regular traffic but with the added dozens of dump trailers hauling salt throughout the day, it makes it even worse. Now that the weather is getting better, less and less trucks are hauling, and I can't complain! We had enough with this winter!

At the Diesel Nationals this past year, it started to rain maybe at around 12 or so, and it scared a lot of people away, and some didn't even bring their trucks. When it was raining, I went around to take some pictures and it was almost eerie. There was almost no one walking around. It was perfect to see the trucks without everyone crowding around them, which made it great to take pictures also. The dark skies and the rain on the trucks was a plus for pictures too. Shooting in the rain is my favorite weather to take pictures in, they just come out perfect in my opinion.
One night when me and my brother were coming back from Wekfest, a car show in Jersey, we were riding along the SIE and seen the LTR1220 and since it was pretty late, around 2, there was pretty much no one on the highway so we stopped real quick in the shoulder and took some shots. This was the first job the 1220 was on so it was cool to see it! Looking back at my old videos on YouTube and came across this video of Russo's Pete 378 leaving a demo site that was actually right around the block from me. One day I seen a few of their trucks a t the old hospital that was supposed to be demolished and was really surprised to see them in my area. To make a long story short, one day they seen my brother taking pictures and they let him in the site and let him go wherever. They are a bunch of cool guys at Russo! |
See the stories behind the pictures.
