Caught MDC Services beautiful W900 fueling up in Red Hook early in the morning sun. It made for a perfect photo sitting in the bay getting filled. I love their trucks because they are simple yet eye catching at the same time. Their rigs are garage kept, and it definitely shows!

Got this shot with my phone of a WEEKS clamshell unloading a ship of salt at Atlantic Salt the other month. I couldn't get a clear shot through the fence with my SLR since the lens wouldn't fit through so I had to use my phone and the pic came out surprisingly well! These "Polka Dot" Crane Carrier's are famous from among New York. If you ask anyone that has been in the city regularly in the early 2000's, there's a high chance they remember seeing Certified's Polka Dot mixers all around. When Certified went out of business, another company bought many of Certified's CCC mixers and used them up until about~2010 when that company went down hill also, and now most of the famous mixers sit in Red Hook Brooklyn, rusting away. It's sad to see these trucks just rotting away knowing how much history they have in NYC. A few months ago, when my brother was coming home from work at around 11pm, he texted me and said he seen a large all red Pete rolloff with no lettering or box on it. It was odd for him to see it not only because of the time but where he seen it, in New Dorp in S.I. We later found out that it is owned by MDC Services out of Brooklyn. I was finally able to get a few good shots of it last week in Brooklyn. The truck is immaculate, even in this bad weather with all the salt!
