...Went all around Staten Island today, and caught some interesting trucks. From the brand new Cat CT660 pictured below, to the old (possibily early 80's) RD Mack dump truck in the thrid photo.
...First pictured is a Cat CT660 rolloff operated by NY Asphalt Inc. They also have a dumptruck CT660 in a darker red color. I was eating lunch and thought park and face the main road to see if anything passes, and as we were about to leave I heard that notable rolloff container sound on the truck when they hit a bump and didn't see anything for a few seconds and because of some cars in the way, this showed up! I am glad I got decent pictures of it without any trees or signs blocking a part of it...Other trucks I was surprised to see were the green NY Paving Mack DM600 dumptruck and the Scaramella Mack RD dumptruck. NY Paving runs some old trucks, they may not be in the best shape but they are still running around the streets! The Scaramella Mack RD was actually for sale at their yard but I guess they decided to turn it around and use it. The rest of the photos are just some of my favorite trucks that I seen today...That's all for today, all pictures from today can be seen here. -As always, you can click each image to enlarge it.
